Regarding the unanimous adoption ofthe United Nations Security Council’s Resolution 2231 endorsing theJoint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear programme, Binhstressed that Vietnam applauds the ratification of the resolution onJuly 20 and advocates the effective implementation of the document whichwill help ensure regional and global peace, stability, cooperation anddevelopment.
When asked about reports that Singaporedid not permit a number of Vietnamese tourists to enter, the spokesmanquoted the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore as saying on July 22 thatSingapore has yet to make any official announcements on the issue toVietnam.
