Vietnamese banh mi favourite Australia

Customers have flooded through the doors of Third Wave Café in Melbourne, Australia after it released what it claims to be “the world’s largest Vietnamese banh mi”.

The 60-centimetre- long creation with slow-smoked meats and fresh vegetables is offered at 53.9 USD for a limited time only at the must-see café in Melbourne.

It consists of a baguette smothered in butter and bacon jam, topped with pickled carrots, cucumber, coriander and chill for an extra kick.

Next, the baguette is layered with slow-smoked chicken, pork belly, deboned beef rib, and is finished with a dusting of pork crackling and soy glaze drizzle.

“Banh mi”, a queen street food across Vietnam, has made foreign diners surprised and fascinated by the perfect blend of western cuisine with Vietnamese flavours./.
