Vietnamese Border Guard Commander Lieutenant General Vo Trong Viet is paying a working visit to China from March 9-15.
Vietnamese Border Guard Commander Lieutenant General Vo Trong Viet is paying a working visit to China from March 9-15.

The commander’s visit is intended to consolidate and develop thefriendship and cooperation between the border guard forces of the twocountries and increase the efficiency of law enforcement along theirshared border.

The Vietnamese delegation visitedthe Hekou Border Guard Company and met with its officers. During which,Viet expressed his appreciation of the effective coordination betweenthe Hekou Border Guard Company with Lao Cai province’s Border GuardForce in patrolling the border, thereby fostering peace and friendship.

He said he hopes in the coming time, the twoforces will promote their achievements in building, managing andsafeguarding the border to further nurture the Vietnam-China friendship.-VNA
