Vietnamese, Chinese leaders meet young people

In his speech, the Vietnamese Party chief calledfor facilitating friendship exchanges and result-oriented cooperationfor enhanced mutual understanding.

He wished thateach of the youngsters will make due contributions to their respectivecountries and the mutual friendship, which was fostered by latePresidents Ho Chi Minh and Mao Zhedong and generations ofex-revolutionaries and leaders.

The Vietnam – China friendship is precious asset that needs to be valued and preserved, he said.
For his part, the Party General Secretary and State Presidentexpressed his hope that young generations of the two countries wouldinherit the traditional friendship and carry it forward.

Both sides should continue increasing people-to-people exchanges andneighborly friendship so that the Vietnam – China amity will be passeddown from generations to generations, he said.

Onthe evening the same day, Party General Secretary and State President Xihosted a banquet in honour of the Vietnamese Party leader.-VNA

According to historical records, the area once served as an operational base for units of Regiments 609, 66, 24 and 320, as well as staff and logistics agencies of the Central Highlands front (B3) during the 1966–1969 period. Between 2020 and 2025, the corps had already recovered remains from 46 martyrs in the Chu Pa mountain area.
