The Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) and the Cuban Journalists’ Association have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for the 2015-2020 in Hanoi on October 21.
Under the MoU inked by VJA Vice Chairman Ha Minh Hue and his Cuban counterpart, Barbara Virginia Doval Martinez, the two associations agreed to boost their cooperation and promote professional experience sharing, thus contributing to consolidating traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba and promoting mutual understanding between the two peoples.
The two associations pledged to remain the exchange of visits to review the cooperation and discuss specific plans for each period. The two agencies will also act as bridges for developing links with press organisations in Southeast Asia and Latin America in the coming time.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, VJA Chairman Thuan Huu and Doval Martinez expressed their hope that the document will open up a new stage for the two associations’ collaboration in the future.-VNA
