Vietnamese culture introduced on Algerian TV channel

Jeel Dz TV – an Arabic-language digital TV channel of Algeria, on February 19 broadcast an hour-long programme on Vietnam, spotlighting the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Algiers (VNA) –Jeel Dz TV – an Arabic-language digital TV channel of Algeria, on February 19 broadcastan hour-long programme on Vietnam, spotlighting the traditional friendshipbetween the two countries.

The reportage was produced by Jeel Dz TV in mid-February 2023 with the supportof the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria.

It introduced culture, landscapes, customs, and culinary arts of the SoutheastAsian nation to local audiences and the community of Arabic speakers.

In the programme, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Vinh mentioned similarities and the goodrelationship between the two nations, and especially highlighted the strong developmentof the exercise movement of Vietnamese traditionalmartial arts (Vovinam) in the African country - a bright spot in bilateral relations.  

As a digital information channel, Jeel Dz TV focuses on developingand popularising information through Internet platforms and social networkssuch as YouTube, Tiktok, Facebook and Instagram./.
