Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese culture was recently introduced at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute in Kiev, Ukraine.

The event was attended by the Vietnamese Charge d’Affairs in Ukraine Nguyen Phan Hong Hai, the Embassy staff, teachers and students from the Institute and the Vietnamese community in the country.

Addressing the event, the Vietnamese diplomat hailed efforts made by Vietnamese students in Kiev in organising the event to introduce the beauty of Vietnam to international friends.

The exchange will give people in Ukraine a deeper understanding of Vietnam, thus consolidating the friendship and cooperation between the two nations, Hai said.

Echoing Hai’s opinion, Valerii Koval and Boris Syganok from the Institute spoke highly of the cultural exchange among students from the two countries.

Photo and handicrafts exhibitions, folk games, cuisine and art performances were also a part of the one-day event.-VNA
