Vietnam always attaches importance to consolidating its traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with the Czech Republic, a National Assembly official has said.
Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for External Relations Tran Van Hang made the affirmation in Hanoi on August 10 while receiving a delegation of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) led by Chairman Vojtech Filip, who is also Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Czech Chamber of Deputies.
The Vietnamese National Assembly and people will do their utmost to maintain and promote this valuable relationship, he stressed.
Expressing delight at the positive developments in the relationship between the two countries in general and between the two parliaments in particular, Hang said that the exchange of parliamentary delegations has contributed to improving the lawmaking quality and renovating the Vietnamese NA’s operations in the new period.
He thanked the Czech Republic ’s for creating favourable conditions for the Vietnamese community in the country, which has become an effective bridge for fostering bilateral ties.
Vojtech Filip expressed his wish that the two Parliaments will strengthen the exchange of information as well as coordination at multilateral forums, thus boosting the traditional friendship and cooperation between the Czech Republic and Vietnam .
In the coming time, the two sides should provide judicial assistance and build common standards for their businesses, he suggested.-VNA
