Vietnamese-Czech legislature enhance ties

Chairman ofthe National Assembly’s Committee for External Relations Tran Van Hangmade the affirmation in Hanoi on August 10 while receiving adelegation of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) led byChairman Vojtech Filip, who is also Chairman of the SupervisoryCommittee of the Czech Chamber of Deputies.

TheVietnamese National Assembly and people will do their utmost to maintainand promote this valuable relationship, he stressed.

Expressing delight at the positive developments in the relationshipbetween the two countries in general and between the two parliaments inparticular, Hang said that the exchange of parliamentary delegations hascontributed to improving the lawmaking quality and renovating theVietnamese NA’s operations in the new period.

Hethanked the Czech Republic ’s for creating favourable conditions forthe Vietnamese community in the country, which has become an effectivebridge for fostering bilateral ties.

Vojtech Filipexpressed his wish that the two Parliaments will strengthen theexchange of information as well as coordination at multilateral forums,thus boosting the traditional friendship and cooperation between theCzech Republic and Vietnam .

In the comingtime, the two sides should provide judicial assistance and build commonstandards for their businesses, he suggested.-VNA

This is PM Hung’s first official visit to Cambodia. It holds particular significance, demonstrating the high priority that the Party, State and Government of Vietnam attach to relations with Cambodia and contributing to further deepening the bilateral ties of “good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability”.
