Vietnamese female scientist receives IASS awards

Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, General Director of the Advancement International JS Company (AIC), has received two awards from the Russia’s International Academy of Systems Studies (IASS).
Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, General Director of the Advancement InternationalJS Company (AIC), has received two awards from the Russia’sInternational Academy of Systems Studies (IASS).

The awards,including highest academic achievements between 2004 and 2014 and theVernadsky star, were presented to Nhan at a ceremony held by the VietnamAcademy of Science and Technology and the Vietnam Women’s Union inHanoi on February 11.

In the past ten years, Nhan and herco-workers at the AIC have successfully applied 32 globalstate-of-the-art technologies in waste treatment, agricultural landdecontamination, and training quality in Vietnam.

The IASS award,the highest noble distinction, is offered every ten years to scientistsaround the world with great achievements and contributions to theirfield.
