primary school in Xaysettha district on Oct. 20.
The school is being built at a cost of almost 500,000 USD sourced from the 12 million USD fund raised by Vietnamese businesses under an initiative of labour hero Le Van Kiem, Chairman and General Director of the Long Thanh Golf Investment and Business SJC.
Covering an area of 18,000 sq.m, the school will feature a two-storey building with eight classrooms. Once completed, the school is capable of accommodating 450 pupils.
In addition, Kiem decided to donate an additional 170,000 USD to finance the construction of auxiliary facilities for the school, including dormitories for teachers./.
