Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese football star Le CongVinh has been featured in a 3-minute reportage entitled “Inspiring BondingMoments: Le Cong Vinh” by sport television channel ESPN.

The film was aired on June 8 to tell story about life andcareer of the professional attacker. “Gainingglory for Vietnam wasn't easy for Le Cong Vinh,whose passion for football has been in his soul since a young age”,the channel said.

In thereportage, Vinh shared his dream and passion for football and his family.

It startedwith Vinh recalling old days when he began learning football in his hometown inNghe An province, a cradle of football in Vietnam, at a very young age.

He later toldhow he met his wife, singer Thuy Tien, and his turning point of life when hescored a winning goal that brought Vietnam the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup championship.

“When you area professional football player, you must train hard to become the best playeryou can be. When you play on the national team, you must train even harder tomake the team proud, and more importantly to gain glory for your country,” heopened the film.-VNA

Vietnam drawn with hosts Thailand at ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026

The ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026 is scheduled to take place from April 5 to 11 at the Nonthaburi Provincial Gymnasium in Thailand. The group stage matches will run from April 5 to 7, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals on April 9. The final is set for April 11.

Tam Chuc complex in Ninh Binh granted special national relic status

Ninh Binh will work closely with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, experts, businesses and local communities to ensure sustainable preservation and restoration of the complex. The province also plans to gradually prepare a nomination dossier for “Tam Chuc Complex – Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve” to seek UNESCO World Heritage recognition.
