Vietnam ’s Ha Do Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new urban area in the Chanthabouly district of Vientiane, the capital city of Laos , on Nov. 15.
The opening ceremony was attended by Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavad Lengsavad, Vientiane ’s Mayor Sombath Yialiher, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Ta Minh Chau. and the Chairman of the Ha Do Group, Nguyen Trong Thong.
With a total investment capital of 250 million USD, the urban area comprises a modern system of apartments, schools, trade centres and offices.
It is expected to generate jobs for local people and help boost the city’s northern area./.
