Vietnamese in Norway support Typhoon Yagi victims

As much as 130,300 NOK (nearly 12,000 USD) was donated by Vietnamese people in Norway in support of the homeland’s disaster relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Yagi and its subsequent floods and landslides.

Hanoi (VNA) – As much as 130,300 NOK (nearly 12,000 USD) was donated by Vietnamese people in Norway in support of the homeland’s disaster relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Yagi and its subsequent floods and landslides.

The token of the money was recently presented to the Vietnamese Embassy.

Ambassador Dinh Nho Hung thanked them for their sentiments toward the typhoon victims.

The Overseas Vietnamese association in Norway has carried out various meaningful activities over the recent past to contribute to the great national solidarity and the development of the homeland, including charity programmes to assist the people affected by natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic./.
