Vietnamese "pho" flavor in Seoul

When it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, most international visitors should think of 'pho'. A fragrant bowl of "pho" with clear, flavorful broth, soft and chewy rice noodles, tender slices of beef, and fresh green onions, has become a symbol of Vietnamese cuisine. In these early autumn days in the Republic of Korea, the flavor of "pho" is attracting a large number of Korean diners.

One standout destination is “Pho Khoe,” which is located on Gasan Digital 2 Street in Seoul’s Geumcheon district. The first impression for diners upon entering here is the neatness and tidiness.

At the restaurant, customers need to make reservations via an electronic board. They can also choose their dishes from a menu displayed on the door, and a large tablet.

Nguyen Dinh Tuyen, the owner of "Pho Khoe", said he imports some vegetables from Vietnamese markets, while also cultivating fresh produce in garden beds right outside the restaurant.

He explained that, Vietnamese Pho is popular among Korean diners, because it preserves the essence of traditional Vietnamese cuisine, while adapting to local tastes.

He aims to enhance efficiency in all aspects of the dining experience, which inspired the name “Pho Khoe.”

Tuyen lives by the philosophy of “live well, live green, and live healthy.” That’s why he prioritizes clean ingredients with transparent sourcing. As a passionate advocate for culinary culture, Tuyen hopes “Pho Khoe” will become a symbol of healthy eating.

Currently, Tuyen operates three restaurants in the Republic of Korea. The man is cherishing a plan to expand the brand into international markets./.
