Initial images sent back from Turkey have shed light on the efforts of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam's rescue force in Adiyaman, a Turkish city severely damaged by the deadly earthquake.
Since the early hours of February 11, the Vietnamese rescue team has approached the scene of a collapsed building on Road 531, Adiyaman Merkez. Tasked by organizers with searching for and saving roughly 15 individuals trapped beneath the wreckage, the Vietnamese forces have been resolute in their mission.
From morning until 6:30 pm on the same day, the Vietnamese team has displayed unwavering determination, working relentlessly to clear the site,eliminate hazardous factors, and mitigate the risk of secondary collapses.
The team remains undaunted in the face of adversities and dangers, pledging to exert every ounce of effort to save the lives of those in distress.
Conducting the search for victims under the unforgiving cold weather conditions, where daytime temperatures in Adiyaman hover around -1 to -2 degrees Celsius, has added an additional layer of urgency to the rescue operation./.
