Vietnamese shares rise slightly on both bourses

Hanoi (VNA) – The benchmark VN-Index on the HCM Stock Exchange (HOSE) rose only 2.88 points to 1,126.29 points at the end of March 12.

On the southern bourse, increases were seen in 129 codes of shares, while 169 others experienced decreases.

Meanwhile, the HNX-Index on the Hanoi Stock Exchange was up 1.48 points to 129.06 points, with the prices of 85 share codes up and the prices of 99 others down.

In the VN30, the 30 largest ones by market capitalisation, the prices of 16 share codes fell, notably VIC of Vingroup down 3,500 VND per share.

Rises were seen in 14 share codes, including GAS of PV Gas, VJC (Vietjet Air), DHG (Hai Giang Pharmaceuticals), and VCB (Vietcombank).-VNA
