Vietnamese spring rolls made with French technology

Vietnamese spring rolls are often ranked among the world’s most delicious dishes. Recently, France’s Bretinov company launched the first automated production line for Vietnamese spring rolls, blending modern French technology with traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

Each thin rice paper sheet is carefully placed onto a steam conveyor belt, followed by the meat filling, producing perfectly shaped, uniform rolls.

The automated system can produce up to 2,500 rolls per hour.

This milestone is the result of years of research by Pierre Auffret, founder of Bretinov, marking France’s first automated spring roll production line.

Auffret invested around 3 million EUR (3.34 million USD) in the advanced machinery and technology.

The 2,100-square-meter facility adheres to strict safety and health standards.

The company has produced around 85 to 90 spring roll machines across Europe, mainly in Paris due to high demand.

By year-end, Bretinov plans to introduce a smaller machine, capable of producing 500 to 1,000 rolls per hour, tailored for restaurants and small to medium-sized food businesses./.
