Hanoi (VNA) - Students from Tran Cao Van and Le Quy Don schools in the central city of Da Nang won top prizes in two categories -- apprentices and veterans -- at the 2016 International Robothon Contest for primary and secondary students in Malaysia on December 4.
Vietnamese students also won nine second, third and consolation prizes.
Vietnam had sent 53 teams to the contest, which this year had the theme “Internet of Things.”
Contestants had to make robots and programme them to collect and deliver data.
The teams had been selected through competitions held in HCM City, Hanoi and Da Nang by local educational departments and DTT-Eduspec Joint Venture.-VNA
