A tourism representative office for Vietnam will open in the Japanese capital Tokyo in December, according to the Vietnam Tourism Association.

Nearly 100,000 Vietnamese visitorsare expected to visit Japan in 2013, almost double the amount of2012, according to Janpan tourism agency figures.

Meanwhile, over 450,000 Japanese tourists are expected to visitVietnam , up 5.1 percent year-on-year, according to Vietnam NationalAdministration of Tourism data .-VNA
