Vietnam’s 500 fastest-growing companies honoured

The lists of the 500 fastest-growing companies in Vietnam (FAST500) and the top 10 firms in real estate-construction - building material this year were announced by the Vietnam Report JSC and the VietNamNet e-newspaper during a ceremony held in Hanoi on April 22.

Hanoi (VNA) – The lists of the 500 fastest-growing companies inVietnam (FAST500) and the top 10 firms in real estate - construction - buildingmaterial this year were announced by the Vietnam Report JSC and the VietNamNete-newspaper during a ceremony held in Hanoi on April 22.

Hung Thinh Land JSC, MB AGEAS Life Insurance Company Limitedand Tin Viet Finance JSC were honoured this year.

Other names in the top 10 include Thang Loi Real Estate JSC,Hoang Mai Production Trade and Service Co., Ltd, Pha Le Plastics Manufacturing& Technology JSC, Sao Mai Group Corporation, Nam Hoa Trading &Production Corporation, Tan Viet Securities Joint Stock Company and KBSecurities Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

On the occasion, the organising board launched a bilingual reporton Vietnam’s economic growth 2022, which looks to capitalise on enterprises’potential for sustainable development.

FAST500, launched in 2011, is based on the compound annualgrowth rate (CAGR) in terms of revenue and business performance. Other criteriasuch as total asset, after-tax profit, and companies’ prestige on the media arealso taken into account to identify their scale and stature in the industriesthey operate in./.

ESG standards offer opportunities to reposition Vietnam’s electronics firms

PM updates lead roles to drive UKVFTA forward

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is named the lead agency, with overall responsibility for the agreement’s general goals and definitions, trade remedies, non-tariff barriers to trade and investment in renewable energy, competition policies, State-owned enterprises, enterprises with special or exclusive rights and those with designated monopolies, as well as institutional, general and final terms.

Vietravel Airlines to add new route serving Lunar New Year travel peak

During the peak period of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival in 2026, Vietravel Airlines plans to operate six – eight flights daily on the Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi route, three flights daily on the Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh routes; and two flights daily on the Ho Chi Minh City – Quy Nhon route.

Can Tho–Ca Mau expressway fully opens from January 19

The new section, together with the Can Tho–Hau Giang segment that has been operating smoothly since late December last year, has completed the entire 110.85-km route. With total investment exceeding 27.52 trillion VND (1.04 billion USD), the four-lane expressway is built to modern standards and serves as a key transport artery linking major economic and political centres, industrial zones and seaports in the southwestern region.
