A delegation of the Defence Ministry led by Deputy Minister Lieutenant-General Nguyen Chi Vinh is on a working visit to Laos from September 10-12.
On September 11, the delegation was received by Lao Prime Minister Bouason Buphavanh, who stressed the importance of the upcoming ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+) to be held in Hanoi .
The meeting involves not only the ASEAN, but also other countries, he said, hoping it will be successful.
The Lao PM expressed his admiration for Vietnam ’s successfully hosting major international meetings and wished that the two defence ministries will continue to share experience and help each other in different areas, contributing to tightening the Laos-Vietnam relations.
