Illustrative image. (Photo: VNA)Hanoi (VNA) – The International Exhibition on Shipbuilding, Shipping and Offshore Technology (Vietship 2018) will return for the 9th edition at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi from January 24-26.
This year, the exhibition, the country’s biggest event of its kind, will draw 163 stands of 97 exhibitors from 13 countries, including 59 from Vietnam.
The event will be held by the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC) to provide buyers and sellers/manufacturers one-to-one meeting to gain better understanding of each other’s capabilities and seek for future business.
On display will be products in the fields of shipbuilding, ship repair and maintenance technology, material and equipment for shipbuilding, equipment and facility for shipyard, offshore engineering and facilities, waterway transportation and services, marine supply logistics, ports technology and equipment, design, insurance and more.
The conference “Shipping and Shipbuilding Market in Vietnam – Challenges and Opportunities” and a contract signing ceremony will take place within the event’s framework.-VNA
