Viglacera begins construction on industrial park

The State-owned glass and construction ceramic corporation (Viglacera) on February 26 started work on the construction of the Phu Ha Industrial Park in the northern province of Phu Tho.
The State-owned glass and construction ceramic corporation (Viglacera)on February 26 started work on the construction of the Phu Ha IndustrialPark in the northern province of Phu Tho.

Covering an area of 350 ha, the industrial park has a total investment of 1,730 billion VND (82 million USD).

Major industries at the industrial park include electronic devices,high-quality building materials, food and beverage, and mechanicalproducts.

It is expected to attract a number ofdomestic and foreign investors thanks to its advantageous location andlower rent compared to other industrial parks in the region.

Also on the occasion, two manufacturers were awarded licences tobuild their plants in the complex. The two plants will create some 3,300jobs.-VNA
