Less than 5km from the northeast of Phan Rang-Thap Cham city center, Trung Son pagoda is an impressive structure. The pagoda is located on the slopes of Da Chong mountain. This is one of the most famous attractions in Ninh Thuan today.
Initially, the pagoda was just a simple small Buddhist temple on the mountain. After 1975, monks and Buddhists from everywhere in Vietnam donated money to build a large pagoda. After many years, more structures were added to the pagoda.
Unlike other pagodas, Trung Son pagoda stays in a prime location. Each architectural line of the pagoda shows the typical beauty of the sunny and windy land.
From the top of Da Chong mountain, just looking to the Southeast, you can see Phan Rang-Thap Cham city, Binh Son sea, Ninh Chu beach, Ninh Chu bridge, Nai market, Dam Vua. All of them are famous tourist destinations of Ninh Thuan.
Other directions are sceneries filled with the cultural identity of the sunny and windy Ninh Thuan such as rice fields, grape rigs, Dinh river, and peaceful roads passing through villages.
On full moon days or holidays, tourists flock here in large numbers not only to pray for luck and peace but also to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the pagoda and surrounding nature./.
