VN attends int’l trade fair in India

Vietnamese Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Truong cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Vietnam Pavilion at the 30th India International Trade Fair (IITF 2010) that opened in the Indian capital city of New Delhi on Nov.14.
Vietnamese Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Truong cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Vietnam Pavilion at the 30th India International Trade Fair (IITF 2010) that opened in the Indian capital city of New Delhi on Nov.14.

Three Vietnamese companies including Viet Silk, Nhu Hoa and Duong Quynh Anh showcased their handicraft products, garments, consumer goods, silks and lacquer paintings at seven pavilions.

Additionally, documents on the Vietnamese economy, trade, investment, tourism and sample products of large companies in the country were also on display.

Over 400 companies from 38 countries including the UK, France, Germany, Russia, Japan and the Republic of Korea along with more than 7,000 exhibitors from the host country displayed IT products, electrical equipments, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, rubbers, handicrafts, jewelries, consumer goods and a wide range of services in construction, transportation and machinery manufacturing.

Held by the India Trade Promote Organisation under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the event aims to introduce domestic products and promote trade exchange with countries all over the world.

The event will last till Nov.27./.
