State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nemeth Zsolt and Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Doan Xuan Hung have confirmed a commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation and international coordination between the two foreign ministries.
The confirmation was made at their talks during State Secretary Zsolt’s current visit to Vietnam .
Both sides informed each other of their respective countries’ situation and discussed concrete measures to boost bilateral cooperation in economics, trade and environmental protection in the context of Vietnam as ASEAN Chair and Hungary as the President of the European Union (EU) in the first half of 2011.
During his three-day visit to Vietnam that will end on Oct. 23, Zsolt paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem and attended the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition taken by Hungarian artists, a cultural activity to mark the 60 th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties./.
