VN, Laos see provincial cooperation strengthened

will continue exchanging high-level delegations, aiming to strengthen
the solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two
provinces.

This is part of the cooperative schedule in 2012-2015 agreed by leaders of Binh Phuoc and Savannakhet at a meeting on Apr. 24 during a visit to Binh Phuoc province by a delegation of the Lao province.
In 2012, Binh Phuoc will organise visits for senior officials to Savannakhet on the occasion of the 35 years of the signing of Friendship and Cooperation Treaty between Vietnam and Laos (July 18, 2012), and the 50 th anniversary of diplomatic ties between both countries.
The two sides reached consensus on cooperation and mutual support in the fields of culture, education and agriculture, aiming to step up socio-economic development in both provinces.
The two provinces will exchange further information on investment, preferential policies for businesses, trade promotion and tourism, as well as trade and tourism fairs in the two localities.
Savannakhet province committed to creating more favourable conditions for Binh Phuoc businesses to become involved in socio-economic projects in Savannakhet./.
