The VNA has recently launched a Chinese-language news website at http://cn.vietnamplus.vn and its own news-only TV channel, VNews.

Meanwhile, Xinhua plans to launch a Vietnamese-language website soon.

The two news agencies also discussed in details the exchange of news in Vietnamese, Chinese and English about important events occurring in each country and the use of each others’ official reports.

They shared experiences in providing news services via mobile phones and agreed to boost the exchange of visits.

VNA General Director Tran Mai Huong hailed the Xinhua delegations visit, describing it as a good opportunity for the two sides to discuss measures to effectively carry out signed agreements and prepare for future cooperation in new areas./.
