February 1, on the occasion of upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).
In particular, gifts worth 700,000 VND (33USD) each were delivered to 35 ethnic minority children from Hop Nhat Village, the poorest village in Ba Vi District where one fourth of the households live under the poverty line.
The charity activity was organised by the municipal chapters of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Hanoi Association of Young Entrepreneurs.-VNA
