Water drop worship ceremony- Unique cultural symbol of Ba Na people

The water drop worship ceremony of the Ba Na ethnic people in Gia Lai province is held to pray to the Water God (Yang Ia) for abundant water resources to serve daily life, farming and production. The ritual is a unique cultural symbol reflecting the strong community bond of the Ba Na people and their wish for a prosperous and favourable harvest season. The ceremony was recently re-enacted at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi.
