Generations of the Lao ethnic people in Na Sang village, Nua Ngam commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province have worked hard to preserve their traditional craft of brocade weaving.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on November 2 handed the northwestern mountainous province of Dien Bien a decision recognising two cultural practices of the local H’Mong and Lao ethnic minority groups as national cultural heritages.
