Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City police detainedPham Thi Doan Trang in HCM City’s District 3 for “spreading propaganda againstthe State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoipolice launched criminal proceedings on October 7 against Trang, 42, whose registeredresidence is in Dong Da district, Hanoi, for “anti-State propaganda“ asprescribed in Article 88 of the Criminal Code 1999 and “creating, storing,spreading and disseminating information, documents, materials and items for thepurpose of opposing the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”, in linewith the Article 117 of the Criminal Code 2015.

The Hanoi People’s Procuracy has approved the decisionof Hanoi police.

The case is under further investigation in line withthe law./.

Phu Quoc launches English classes for vendors, drivers ahead of APEC 2027

Singer, media executive charged over YouTube music copyright infringement
