The Bai Bang Paper Joint Stock Company held a ground-breaking ceremony on Dec. 9 for a paper mill that will produce top quality paper for newspapers, in Phu Ninh district, in the northern mid-land province of Phu Tho.
When addressing the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai praised the Bai Bang Company for its investment to produce the paper, which will help to ensure paper supplies for domestic newspapers, reduce costs and stabilise the local economy.
The 520 billion VND plant will have an output of 50,000 tonnes of newsprint annually.
The plant will use a production line made by Japan ’s Tokywa Group which uses energy efficient machinery and Singapore ’s waster water treatment technology./.
