Tran Xuan Hiep topped the men’s Daoshu, in which the participant uses a sword as the main element of the routine.
Meanwhile, the bronze medal of the women’s Changquan (Long Fist) went to Duong Thuy Vi after she scored 9.67 points, only 0.01 and 0.03 points lower than the Chinese silver and gold winners, respectively.
The semifinal round of the Sanda (Combat) category will see the participation of six Vietnamese artists.
