Hanoi (VNA) - The first Yamaha Grand Prix will be organised on November 6 in southern Binh Duong province.
Riders, men and women, will compete in nine categories divided into three divisions for 115cc-, 125cc- and 150cc-engines for both professionals and amateurs.
Yano Takeshi, general director of Yamaha Vietnam said the Grand Prix would not only improve the driving skills of competitors, but also be a first step for Yamaha to consider larger events here in the future as well as bring Vietnamese riders to international competitions.
The races will be held at the Dai Nam Van Hien Tourism Complex with free entrance for supporters.-VNA
