Secretary of the Party Committee in Russia Dang Huu Trung,representatives of Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, associations ofoverseas students and businesses, HCYU’s members and other relevantagencies attended the event.

At the function, Secretary of the HCYU in Russia Nguyen Quoc Nghiadelivered a speech to reviewed glorious traditions of HCYU over the past79 years.

He praised achievements HCYU’s members have attained in youth unionactivities, academic performance and scientific researches as well ascampaigns to raise Vietnam’s image and its friendship with internationalfriends.

Dang Huu Trung underlined contributions made by overseas Vietnamesestudents in Russia and expressed his wish that they will continue theirefforts to serve as reserve forces of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Also on the occasion, they proposed their initiatives to raise fund insupport for domestic students in difficult circumstances./.
