The most outstanding young people in the campaign of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example were honoured at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on May 19.

HCM City (VNA) - The mostoutstanding young people in the campaign of studying and following President HoChi Minh’s moral example were honoured at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on May19.

The ceremony was part of a two-day youth congressthat is bringing together 336 delegates nationwide, who are role models in thecampaign initiated by the Party Politburo.

By hounouring these young faces, the Ho ChiMinh Communist Youth Union Central Committee hoped to help the campaign spreadfurther in society.

After the ceremony, participating youthsjoined a tree-planting activity at the HCM City history – culture park inDistrict 9.

Lasting until May 20, the congress featurestours around local cultural-historical sites, industrial parks and high-techagricultural parks, and meetings with local youths who are good at doingbusiness.

The 10th-tenure Politburo of the CommunistParty of Vietnam issued Directive 06 in 2006 to launch the campaign of studyingHo Chi Minh ideology and following the late President’s moral example, and the11th-tenure issued Directive 03 in 2011 to push the movement a stepfurther.-VNA

Hanoi court cuts sentences in ‘rescue flight’ bribery case
