
Hanoi (VNA) – An exhibition entitled “Yuendumu Doors” is scheduledto open at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology on December 8, showcasingAustralia’s important cultural and art collections.
The exhibition, held by the Australian Embassy in Vietnam,is expected to help visitors understand more about the indigenous culturepainted by Warlpiri people, one of the largest aboriginal communities livingfor thousands of years in Central Australia.
On display are 15 out of 30 paintings drawn at the Yuendumucommunity school in 1984.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until January31, 2021.
During this period, the museum will organise activities tohelp visitors learn about paintings and symbols of Australian aboriginals./.
