The host praised the positive progress in coordination betweenVietnamese localities and Yunnan, urging improvements to existingcooperative mechanisms.

He went on to note that bothsides should strengthen their bilateral engagement in advantageoussectors including trade, transportation, tourism, agriculture andeducation.

Vietnamese and Chinese localities need towork closely in sustainably utilising their shared water sources and inimplementing Vietnam-China border management documents, Son said.

Agreeing with his host, Chen Hao stated that his province is willingto collaborate with Vietnam to boost cooperation in all fields,contributing to developing the comprehensive strategic partnershipbetween Vietnam and China.

Yunnan shares more than 4,000 kilometres of border lines with Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.-VNA

NA Chairman Man, who is also a Politburo member and Secretary of the NA Party Committee, said that the committee, with nearly 3,000 members, must maintain strict organisational principles and build a clean and strong Party organisation that promotes solidarity, democracy, responsibility, unity, and creativity.
