Phnom Penh (VNA) – Cambodia and the Philippines have signed a number of cooperation documents, focusing on trade, tourism, sports, agriculture, labour protection, and transnational crime prevention. The signing ceremony took place in Phnom Penh on December 14 as part of the December 13-14 official visit to Cambodia by Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to promote the bilateral cooperation.
Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen and the visiting Philippine President witnessed the signing of the agreements.
President Duterte earlier had a meeting with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.
He left Cambodia on December 14 evening for an official visit to Singapore.
