HCM City Chairman receives new Cambodian consul general

Phong congratulated Im Hen on his appointment, saying that he believed the Cambodian Consul General would perform well in the new position to boost the long-standing relations between Vietnam and Cambodia as well as between HCM City and Cambodian localities.
The Chairman hoped that Ho Chi Minh City and Cambodia would work together to hold celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries (June 24, 1967).
For his part, Im Hen said he looks forward to getting support from the city’s authorities during his term of office and welcomes HCM City investors to do business in Cambodia.-VNA
