80 years of victory over fascism: The most brilliant epic in the 20th century

On the afternoon of April 30, 1945, the Soviet Red Army raised the victory flag on the roof of the German Parliament. At midnight on May 8 (early morning of May 9, Moscow time), in the suburbs of Berlin, the representative of Nazi Germany signed a document accepting unconditional surrender to the Allies - a milestone of victory over Nazi Germany, ending World War II in Europe. On September 2, 1945, it was Japan's turn to surrender in Asia, officially ending World War II. 80 years have passed, but humanity still remembers the heroic victory and the noble sacrifice of the people of all countries, in which the Soviet army and people played the greatest and most decisive role in liberating humanity from the fascist disaster, bringing peace to nations.
