- Chinese Premier Li Qiang chaired an official welcome ceremony for Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh who is on an official visit to the country. After the welcome ceremony, the two government leaders held talks. Read full story

- Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and his Chinese counterpart Qin Gang discussed measures to further promote the relations between the Parties and States of Vietnam and China during their meeting in Beijing on June 25.

Son, who is accompanying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on an official visit to China, underlined that Vietnam attaches great importance to developing the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China, which is a top priority in Vietnam’s external policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralisation and diversification of foreign relations. - President of the Swiss National Council Martin Candinas’s official visit to Vietnam from June 27-30 is to strengthen the good cooperation between the two countries, and consolidate the good relationship between their two legislative bodies, Swiss Ambassador Thomas Gass told the Vietnam News Agency on the threshold of the visit. - Officials of Vietnam and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) have voiced support for stronger cooperation in ASEAN to improve the access of migrants, especially transboundary ones, to healthcare services.

An international conference was held in Hanoi on June 26 by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and the ASEAN Secretariat with support from the IOM and the World Health Organisation (WHO). It attracted over 160 officials, experts, and scholars from ASEAN member countries who attended both in person and via videoconference. Read full story

- The sabotage arguments by hostile forces, the “bullets” intended to drive a wedge into the great national solidarity, failed to pierce through the firm shield of the truth and people’s solidarity.

The armed attacks on the headquarters of the People’s Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes of Cu Kuin district, the Central Highlands province Dak Lak, early on June 11 caused heavy human losses and negatively affected local security and order. - The Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) will host the 2023 Asia-Pacific Regional Annual Meeting of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) and the mid-year meeting of the ASEAN Freight Forwarders Association (AFFA) in the central city of Da Nang from July 13 to 15.

The event provides opportunities for Vietnamese logistics and export companies to meet and exchange experiences with world partners in the development of logistics services in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Read full story

- The Republic of Korea’s Doosan Group said it is eyeing to expand eco-friendly energy investment in Vietnam as one of the future strategies that it is aiming at the potential clean energy market in the Southeast Asian country.

Doosan Enerbility company has signed agreements with three companies operating thermal power plants in Vietnam to promote an environmentally friendly fuel conversion project. - A series of events were held in the French city of Saint Herblain over the weekend, aiming to promote the Vietnamese culture to the French. The events included an international exhibit and workshops presenting paintings by Vietnamese children as well as those by their friends from 20 other countries.
