AIPA Secretary General congratulates Vietnam’s new legislative leader

Secretary General of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman has sent a letter of congratulations to Tran Thanh Man on his election as Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) at the seventh plenary session of the 15th NA.

Hanoi (VNA) – Secretary General of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman has sent a letter of congratulations to Tran Thanh Man on his election as Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) at the seventh plenary session of the 15th NA.

In the letter, the Secretary General extended her sincerest and deepest thanks to the Vietnamese NA for its support for and close cooperation with the AIPA and the AIPA Secretariat.

She expressed her belief that Man will continue to promote the development of the Vietnamese legislature, strengthen and tighten its collaboration with the AIPA, thus contributing to the common prosperity of the ASEAN region.

She wrote she looks forward to meeting the Vietnamese top legislator at the AIPA's upcoming activities./.
