A total of 86 photographs featuring the diplomatic ties, traditional cultures and history of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) are on display for the first time in the southern province of An Giang to celebrate the 20 th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.

The photos highlight the political milestones marked by both nations, such as senior level visits and meetings between the leaders of both countries. They also highlight images of Vietnam , such as the Hung Temple festival, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An ancient town, the floating markets of the Mekong Delta and parts of Long Xuyen city.

Visitors to the exhibition will also have the chance to see pictures of the Cheomscongdae observatory from the Sinla period, springtime in Bomun, and Hyeopjae beach on Jeju Island , and experience popular RoK cusine, fan dances and concerts by musicians from Vietnam and the RoK.

Addressing the opening ceremony on November 6, Vo Anh Kiet, the Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said that as a major political and cultural event, the exhibition will help local people learn more about the RoK and its people, as well as introduce images of Vietnam and An Giang to international friends.
