Da Nang (VNA) – Cambodia’s Angkor Air has officially launched a new direct route from Phnom Penh to Da Nang with five flights per week on Airbus A320, starting from October 27.
The flight on the new route will take off from Phnom Penh at 1pm and from Da Nang International Airport at 3.35pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The inaugural flight landed at Da Nang International Airport at 2.50 pm on October 27 with 120 passengers aboard.
It is the second direct flight from Cambodia to Da Nang after the first between Siem Reap and Da Nang with seven flights per week.
The launch of the new route will help promote tourism between central Vietnam and Cambodia.
Angkor Air is also operating direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh and from Siem Reap to HCM City with 21 flights per week each route, while from Sihanouk Ville to HCM City with seven flights per week./.
