Professional teams from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore will fight for the regional based 2014 AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) Championship from July 16 to October 26.

Fans from these ASEAN countries can now start to make plans to see top quality regional basketball in their respective cities.

Thailand's Hitech Bangkok City will take on the Malaysia Dragons in Bangkok at the Thai Japanese Association Stadium on July 16.

Last year's runner up, the Indonesia Warriors, will make the trip to HCM City to do battle with Vietnam's first-ever professional basketball team, the Saigon Heat, on July 19.

The Singapore Slingers will play Laskar Dreya of Indonesia in the new Singapore SportsHub's OCBC Arena on July 20.

The 2014 AirAsia ABL regular season will see a total of 60 games played on a home and away basis, with the top 4 teams advancing to the 2014 AirAsia ABL Playoffs in November.-VNA
