Hanoi (VNA) - Naval forces from member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China concluded a joint maritime drill in Zhanjiang city, Guangdong province, southern China, on October 27.
Eight naval vessels and more than 1,200 officers and soldiers from the ASEAN countries and China joined the drill.
The drill was divided into three parts, including activities at port and on shore, maritime military exercises and a conclusion.
A similar drill between ASEAN and the US is scheduled for 2019.
