Hanoi (VNA) – At least 24 persons were killed in a seriousaccident in Luzon, northern Philippines, on April 18, the media reported.
Officials were quoted as saying that a bus with 45 passengers fell downa ravine on the way from Isabela province to Ilocos Sur. The injured passengershave been rushed to hospitals.
Accidents are frequent in the Philippines due to unsafe vehicles, poorconditions of roads and lax traffic control.
