According to RUN Chairman Peter Lee, RUN universities have a strong andgrowing applied research effort undertaken from a unique regionalperspective. RUN is looking forward to collaborating with Vietnamesepartners on a range of significant projects.
The RUN delegationis scheduled to visit the University of Agricultural,Thai NguyenUniversity, the Vietnam Academy of Forest Sciences, the Vietnam Academyof Agriculture Sciences, Nha Trang University, Da Lat University,Vietnam National University - VNU Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh CityUniversity of Agriculture and Forestry and Can Tho University.
Duringthe visit, a research seminar on “agriculture development for theMekong Delta” will be held in the city of Can Tho by the AustralianGovernment, RUN universities and Can Tho University.
Around 20Australian alumni are invited to attend the seminar to exploreopportunities for future research collaboration and networks inagriculture.
RUN consists of six universities with headquartersin Australia. Every year RUN delivers educational programmes to over110,000 students, trains over 2,200 higher-degree researchers andconducts world-class research studies.-VNA
